Thanks to its compact, square design, this designer feeder offers a stylish and functional place for garden birds to feed safely. Ideal for those who want to pamper the birds in their garden, on their facade, or on their balcony while enjoying timeless design.

This bird feeder is crafted from 1 mm thick Corten steel. The steel forms a protective rust layer (patina) that makes the material resistant to the elements. The warm, rust-brown surface gives the house a natural look that blends beautifully into any outdoor setting.

The wall-mounted model is easily installed with the included stainless steel screws and plugs. This allows you to quickly create a durable bird feeding spot in a visible and accessible location. The open design makes refilling easy and provides birds with plenty of perching space while feeding.

About Corten steel

Corten steel is a high-quality metal alloy consisting of iron enriched with copper, phosphorus, silicon, nickel, and chromium. It is known for its distinctive rust-brown color and natural industrial aesthetic.

What makes Corten steel unique is the dense oxide film (rust layer) that forms on the surface. This layer protects the underlying material from oxygen, which significantly slows down the rusting process and allows the metal to last for years — without rusting through.

Important to know

Corten steel is supplied as standard in its original, grey metallic state (unrusted).
Minor imperfections in the corten steel (such as scratches/steel production codes) will become invisible during the rusting process.
Within approximately 1 to 2 months, a rust-coloured patina layer will form — completely natural, without any additional treatment.
During the rusting process, the material may stain surfaces or surrounding elements.
Corten steel is suitable for outdoor use in all weather conditions and does not require a coating.

Maintenance tips

Let the rusting process take its course. Do not use any chemical agents or oils.
Prevent moisture stains during storage: unpack the material immediately upon receipt.
Avoid standing water on horizontal surfaces to limit staining.
Clean only with water and a soft brush if desired — do not use aggressive cleaning agents.
When mounting on sensitive surfaces: consider a spacer or edge finish to prevent rust runoff.
