The WOOD Post from Stalen Design is a solid pine post suitable for placing a bird feeder, bee hotel, feeding station, or other bird accessory at height. Also known as a garden stake or stand, this post offers a stable and practical solution for use in the garden.

The post is made of PEFC-certified solid wood and impregnated for a longer lifespan. Thanks to the pointed end, you can easily place it in the ground. Its natural look fits perfectly into any outdoor space. The length is approximately 160 cm – wood is a natural product and may shrink or expand slightly due to weather conditions. This may also cause some resin or moisture to be released.

Practical tip: The wooden post should be placed about one-third into the ground. The sharp point makes it easy to drive into the soil.

About pine

Pine is a widely used wood type with a natural, rustic appearance. The wood comes from coniferous trees and is known for its light color and visible grain structure.

To make pine suitable for outdoor use, it is pressure-impregnated. This extends its lifespan and protects against mold and wood rot. Impregnated pine is therefore a durable choice for garden structures and outdoor accessories.

Important to know

Pine wood is a natural product; each post is unique in shape, color, and structure.
The wood may expand or shrink due to weather conditions.
It is normal for resin to be released, especially in warm weather or after processing.
The length of the product is approximate – minor deviations are possible.
Suitable for outdoor use thanks to the impregnation.

Maintenance tips

Impregnated pine wood will turn grey over time when used outdoors – this is a natural process.
Avoid prolonged contact with standing water to limit warping or mould.
Clean with water and a soft brush if desired – do not use aggressive cleaning agents.
Do not cover the wood airtight during storage to prevent moisture accumulation and mould growth.
