About powder-coated steel

This type of powder-coated steel is manufactured from cold-rolled steel (DC01-A-m, CRS) that has been treated with a thin protective oil layer and subsequently finished with a durable powder coating. This combination ensures a sleek, finished surface with high mechanical strength and corrosion resistance.

The powder coating is applied electrostatically and cured into a wear-resistant, weather-resistant layer. This makes the material highly suitable for use in demanding conditions, both indoors and outdoors.

Important to know

  • The core is cold-rolled steel of type DC01-A-m with a smooth and consistent surface.
  • Pre-treated with a light oil film for corrosion protection prior to coating application.
  • The powder coating forms a hard, even protective layer against scratches, moisture, and UV radiation.
  • Highly suitable for outdoor use, provided that damage to the coating is avoided.
  • Available in various colors and textures for a modern appearance.

Maintenance tips

  • Clean the surface regularly with water and a soft cloth or sponge.
  • Preferably use pH-neutral cleaning agents to protect the coating.
  • Avoid aggressive chemical cleaners, abrasives, and high pressure.
  • Periodically check for damage to the coating — damage may cause the steel to corrode.
  • If installing on damp or acidic surfaces: ensure proper ventilation or use protective layers.
